Leukemia accounts for about 30% of cancer cases in children aged 0-14.

An estimated 1,585 deaths are expected to occur among children aged 0-14 in 2005 - about one-third of them from leukemia.

Leukemia is the leading cause of death by disease in children between the ages of 1 and 14.

The 5-year survival rate for childhood leukemia is 79%.

Leukemia is diagnosed 10 times more often in adults than in children.

50% of the patients in our financial assistance program are age 35 or younger.
