Hollis Brownstein Research Grants Program

Before proceeding, please read the following important information regarding the Hollis Brownstein Research Grants Program offered by the Leukemia Research Foundation.

The Leukemia Research Foundation is currently funding New Investigators only. New Investigator research grants are for a period of one year for up to $100,000. Award funds are transferred quarterly to the institutional office of grant administration or sponsored programs. The funding cycle begins on July 1, 2008.

Guidelines for the 2008-2009 funding cycle are now available. Click Application Information for more information. Specific guidelines change yearly, so please read through the application and guidelines carefully to determine eligibility.

The Leukemia Research Foundation dedicates funds to support research related to leukemia, lymphoma, and myelodysplastic syndromes. The goal of the Hollis Brownstein Research Grants Program is to support new investigators; preference will be given to applicants demonstrating new lines of investigation. All submissions are reviewed by our Medical Advisory Board, chaired by Dr. Michael Thirman, Associate Professor of Medicine and Director of Leukemia Biology at The University of Chicago, Section of Hematology/Oncology.
